Black and white landscape of a tree covered ridge in Danna, Murree hills, partly hidden by thick fog, with soft light and visible film like grain.

Trees in Fog

Photographed in Danna, in the Murree hills, as fog drifted across a ridge of trees. I wanted to keep the softness, the way the fading light dissolved edges and thinned details, and the grain that adds a gentle texture. It is more about atmosphere than detail, with layers fading in and out of the mist.

Available print size: 11in × 14in on 300 gsm matte fine art paper.

Note: This image keeps its natural grain. At 11×14, the grain will be clearly visible, and that is part of the look. Printed on natural white, acid free paper with a subtle texture and no OBAs, giving it a warmer tone and better resistance to yellowing over time. The texture adds a gentle sense of depth on matte paper.
