Lohari Gate Bazaar sits inside Lahore’s Walled City. This set is part of my ongoing series photographing the old bazaars of Lahore. Shot on a drab day, the frames lean on what the street already offers: colour rich shopfronts, layered posters, sacks and stalls, and the flower sellers just outside the gate.

One photograph from this set stood out, so I am sharing it first. A lady in a red shawl anchors a corner of Lohari Gate Bazaar as the street turns into a shopfront. Behind her, an orange storefront glows even on a dull day, with sacks neatly stacked inside and layers of posters building up on the wall.

One frame from this walk felt better in black and white, where texture and detail became the subject. These flower sellers sit just outside the Lahori Gate.
